Job description
Kelly Box & Packaging has immediate openings for Machine Operators on 1st. shift (7:00am-3:30 am) Monday-Friday (with occasional overtime).
This position is responsible for operating a corrugated packaging machine. (Note - this is not a CNC machine.)
Candidates MUST possess the following requirements:
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting ability
- Must be able to read and understand blue prints/job order cards
- Excellent organizational skills & the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a frequent to semi-frequent basis
- MUST be able to work 1st. shift hours - 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.
- Must be able to pass a short math test which includes addition of fractions & reading measurements on a ruler (see example math test questions below)
- Good attendance & safety habits
- Able to pass a drug screen
Starting pay is $16/hour for 1st shift. We offer our employees comprehensive benefits, including quarterly bonuses, medical, dental, life and 401K.
* Candidates MUST be able to add/convert fractions (i.e. 3/8 5/16 = ?) and read measurements on a ruler (where is 3/8" on the ruler?).
