What’s a typical day as a Production Associate? You’ll be:
- Conducting in-process inspections and quality checks to identify product defects, ensuring compliance with specifications and SOPs.
- Cleaning machines and equipment according to department SOPs to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Completing necessary steps for proper packaging and labeling of products, assisted by automatic packing equipment.
- Operating laundry equipment and performing wash/dry tasks as needed.
- Assisting Material Handler I in moving freezer carts and operating lift equipment as required.
- Rotating to any cell as Operator I when necessary, maintaining flexibility in your role.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with experience in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
- Possess basic mathematical skills and can work independently with good communication and documentation abilities.
- Are able to visually detect defects and troubleshoot label dispensing equipment.
- Can understand, speak, read, and write English to comply with necessary SOPs and training materials.
- Meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds and performing repetitive tasks at machine-based speed.
