What’s a typical day as a Packaging Operator? You’ll be:
- Spotting out-bound trucks into material load docks and ensuring dock-locks are secure.
- Reclaiming off-quality Unbonded Loosefill and refeeding the material to the forehearth.
- Operating bagger equipment to ensure proper packaging of finished goods material.
- Performing general cleanup duties in designated areas, including sweeping floors and cleaning break rooms.
- Assisting with Preventative Maintenance processes and participating in safety and housekeeping programs.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have 1-3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Can read, write, and speak English fluently, and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Have strong internal and external customer service skills and can work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Are capable of performing intermediate mathematical calculations.
