Manufacturing Technician I
Construction – Glazier / General Laborer
Full-Time | Direct Hire | Hands-On Training Provided
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
Compensation based on relevant experience
About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial glass and aluminum storefront contractor serving the Central New York area. This company specializes in small to medium-sized construction projects and is known for its strong company culture, high employee retention, and commitment to work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, remove, mount, repair, and install glass, windows, insulated glass units, and commercial storefront systems
- Interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine glass type, shape, and thickness
- Safely install glass at installation site and related systems with attention to detail and durability
- Load and unload glass panels, tools, and materials as required by project needs
- Work collaboratively with team members and clients to meet project goals
Qualifications
- Prior experience in glazing, construction, carpentry, or a related trade is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (assistance available upon hire)
- Highly dependable and self-motivated
- Strong safety awareness
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Physically capable of performing job duties, including:
- Lifting 50–100 lbs
- Standing and working on feet for 5 hours
- High School Diploma or equivalent
