Position Information:
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines and other production equipment to ensure optimal function and minimize operational interruptions.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in manufacturing machinery.
- Execute repairs, part replacements, and calibration procedures as needed to maintain consistent production quality.
- Respond promptly to unexpected equipment breakdowns and handle urgent maintenance tasks during assigned shifts.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and component usage in maintenance management systems.
- Collaborate with teams across departments to support safe equipment use, process improvement, and adherence to safety guidelines.
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or mechatronics is a plus.
- At least three years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing setting, with preference for background in furniture/wood production or related fields
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, along with experience using common hand tools and diagnostic equipment safely.
- Must be able to follow preventive maintenance procedures and adapt to shift schedules, including occasional overtime as needed.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs. and working in challenging environments near moving machinery.
