Machine Operator opportunity in Beverly, MA. 2nd shift available. 2nd shift schedule is 3:00pm-11:30pm. All positions are $19 per hour to start, temp to hire, OT potential.
Responsibilities• Produce/package/label all products to meet or exceed all quality specifications per shop order, QCIC’s and all other required documents provided.• Operates various manufacturing and measurement equipment in a safe and orderly manner and notifies Lead/Supervisor when operating problems occur or standards cannot be met.• Meet or exceed all due dates assigned to the manufacturing shop order.• Responsible for all products manufactured.• Understanding of documentation system including reading comprehension, writing and how to complete documents accurately.• May assist engineering or manufacturing technicians with validation of processes, product, and tooling.• Understand and follow gowning processes and procedures while maintaining a clean and presentable workstation.• Physical Requirements: • Involves sitting, standing and/or walking, with frequent ability to exert up to 15 pounds of force to move objects and occasionally exert up to 30 pounds of force to move objects.
The site offers liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection molding, including insert and over-molding capabilities. It supports silicone extrusion for pharmaceutical and medical tubing with both cold deck and hot deck molding options. Beverly integrates automated molding solutions using robotics and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) for enhanced precision and efficiency. The site performs value-added secondary operations such as slitting, assembly, and packaging to deliver ready-to-use components.Equipped with 14 molding machines ranging from 100 to 250 tons and two 2.5" extruders, Beverly operates within ISO Class 8 cleanrooms and is ISO 13485 certified and FDA registered. This combination of advanced molding, extrusion, automation, and quality systems ensures the site meets demanding medical device manufacturing requirements.
