Kellwell Food Management, a Correctional Food Service Provider is now hiring a Cook / Supervisor at the Columbus County Jail located in Whiteville, NC. This is a Part-Time position. We have weekly pay and the starting rate for this position is $15.00 an hour.
We are looking for a food service employee to prepare and tray meals in a correctional facility.
Your job duties will include, but not limited to:
- ensuring menus and recipes are followed.
- ensuring proper portioning is adhered to
- ensuring correct ingredients/amounts are used.
- ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
We supervise and work with non-violent inmates. Working in a correctional facility, we require candidates to pass background checks.
Experience is bulk cooking facilities is preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
