Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Utilize sonography equipment to capture high-quality images for preventative and diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and support.
- Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection.
- Collaborate with physicians to discuss imaging results and assist in the interpretation of findings.
- Document all relevant patient information and imaging results accurately in medical records.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Experience in diagnostic radiology or medical imaging is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Certification as an Ultrasonographer from an accredited institution is required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
