About the Company
We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support the continued growth of a rapidly expanding organization. This role will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, performing financial analysis, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, and delivering accurate financial reporting to leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow into a larger leadership role as the company continues to scale. This role will report to the Corporate Controller.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Perform variance analysis and provide meaningful insights on financial results, trends, and key business drivers.
- Develop and enhance reporting packages for management, including KPI and operational performance metrics.
- Manage and mentor the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring efficient processes and strong internal controls.
- Review cash flow activity, monitor working capital, and assist with forecasting initiatives.
- Partner with department leaders to analyze spending, identify opportunities for improvement, and support business decision-making.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning activities.
- Support external audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability as the company grows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Experience performing financial analysis and variance reporting.
- Proven ability to manage and develop accounting staff.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
