What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Kellogg's Distribution Center Logistics position at Kellogg Company?

As a Kellogg Distribution Center (KDC) Logistics Manager you oversee cost budgeting and financial performance, service performance, meeting continuous improvement objectives, adherence to the Warehouse Service Agreement, SAP, DLX and Transportation system utilization and processes. Relocation is being offered.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Driving Solutions – Develops working relationship with local Third-Party Providers to ensure customer order fill and on-time delivery measures are obtained. In addition, develops, monitors and manages assigned distribution center budgets and reports performance to senior management on a monthly basis. Provides monthly forecasted volume to DC’s. Conduct business review quarterly with assigned DC’s.
- Delivering Project Accountabilities – Works to ensure all aspects of the order management process are met. Takes corrective action where required to improve customer service levels and cost/service equation, as well as attend annual customer visits to develop understanding of customer’s service expectation.
- Driving capabilities – Develops a working relationship with finance, logistics, transportation, and IP that supports issue resolution. In addition, develops strong business relationship with our third-party vendors including public warehouses, warehouse suppliers, VAS suppliers, and real estate.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Able to balance conflicting priorities and still provide a clear direction and focus.
- Possess leadership and personality, which encourages teamwork and idea generation while remaining focused on results and process improvement
- At least 3 years business and Supply Chain experience - Warehousing, Inventory Management, Materials Management, and/or Transportation Management experience.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of management over a wide range of departments.
- High School diploma/GED with significant relevant experience
- Ability to travel up to 25%
