This is a full-time on-site role located in Greenwood, IN for a Brokerage Coordinator. The Brokerage Coordinator will be responsible for managing day-to-day freight operations, liaising with carriers and clients, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. Additionally, the role involves using our Lighthouse TMS to create and manage shipments, handle carrier payables, and provide logistical support to multiple departments including Sales, Operations/Traffic, Purchasing, and Accounting.
- Experience in logistics management and freight operations
- Proficient in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in a brokerage coordinator role (advantageous)
