What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate (New York) position at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP?
Kelley Drye & Warren LLP is seeking 2nd to 8th year associates to join our growing and dynamic Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department. Ideal candidates will have previous bankruptcy experience in a law firm and will have experience handling substantive court appearances and representing creditors' committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in bankruptcy matters. Top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent client-relations skills, and the ability to work well on a team are required.
We work seamlessly across offices and will consider experienced candidates in our New York, NY, Madison, NJ and Stamford, CT offices as we grow the group. Bar admission is required in an attorney’s resident and/or affiliated office.
The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of New York if selected for the role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology) for example. New York Salary Range: Low: $225,000-High: $325,000.
