What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Development Frame Builder position at Kellex Seating?
We need an experienced person that can assemble wooden articles from prefabricated parts by performing the following duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new frame from shop drawing and make production patterns.
- Fastens parts together with glue, bolts, nails, or screws.
- Places parts in jig and force parts together for assembly.
- Fastens sections together and attaches brackets.
- Inspects conformance to plant standards. Reads work orders to determine materials required and time required to complete work.
- Adjusts pneumatic bench press according to blueprint of wood article to be manufactured. Moves stock to and from work area.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
Qualifications and or experience required:
To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Only qualified applicants will receive a response.
Education and/or experience:
High School education and 3 to 5 years experience in wood working.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the Organization.
