Semi Attached Backs Sewers (EXPERIENCED)

Kellex Corporation is hiring 2 Sewers who can do Semi-attached backs at our Valdese, NC location.

BASIC FUNCTION

Sews semi-attached backs. Ability to also sew cushions is a plus.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Unties bundle and removes pieces.

2. Read ticket for sewing specifications.

3. Sew pieces together.

4. Inspect work.

5. After sewing is completed, turns all pieces right-side-out.

6. Folds pieces neatly, ties into bundle and places in pick-up area of work table.

7. Exercises care and follows the proper safety procedures to prevent injuries to themselves and their co-workers.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

High School graduate helpful

Upholstery sewing experience preferred. Three years of sewing experience required.
