Job Summary
The ERP Implementation & Operations Integration Manager will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s ERP system to support internal assembly, purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse operations. This role will coordinate cross-functional projects to standardize processes, improve operational visibility, and ensure accurate data flow across departments.
The position serves as the bridge between operations, supply chain, and finance to ensure the ERP system supports efficient and scalable business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and coordinate configuration of the ERP system to support assembly operations, purchasing, inventory control, and warehouse management.
- Define system workflows, data structures, and operational processes within the ERP platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the ERP system is properly implemented and integrated into company operations.
- Develop documentation, system standards, and operating procedures.
- Map and optimize processes for:
- Assembly workflows
- Purchasing and supplier management
- Inventory tracking and accuracy
- Warehouse receiving, storage, and fulfillment
- Ensure ERP data supports operational planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage cross-functional projects related to operational systems and process improvements.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and resources across departments.
- Track project progress and report status to leadership.
- Implement systems for counting, inventory accuracy, and material traceability.
- Develop warehouse organization and process improvements using ERP tools.
- Support barcoding, scanning, and warehouse management solutions.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for operations performance.
- Ensure data integrity across purchasing, inventory, and production modules.
- Support user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for ERP operations modules.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience
- 5 years' experience in ERP implementation, operations systems, or supply chain management.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or distribution environments.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional operational projects.
Technical Skills
- Experience with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, PSI/Penta, Epicor, or similar).
