What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Keller Tavern?
Keller Tavern is looking for Servers/Bartenders with experience who are reliable, outgoing, well spoken and are able to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Must be willing to work server shifts. There will be opportunities to pick up bartending shifts when available
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Shift4 POS system
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
- Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns professionally
- Support other team members as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or nightclub environments REQUIRED
- 21 preferred, MUST be over 18
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in busy settings
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic math accurately
- Experience with upselling techniques to increase sales opportunities
- Food industry knowledge including food handling, preparation, and guest services
- TABC and Food Handlers
