Duties
- Operate heavy equipment forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and packing with precision using order picker equipment and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and updating inventory records accordingly.
- Stock shelves efficiently by organizing materials, replenishing supplies, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with warehouse distribution activities by loading trucks, unloading deliveries, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment like mechanical tools and heavy machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Support warehouse supervisor in inventory management, data entry into warehouse management systems, and maintaining detailed records of all transactions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping & receiving procedures, and order picking processes.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting on heavy equipment when necessary.
- Prior experience in warehouse environment involving stock management, packaging, quality control, and order fulfillment.
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly while adhering to safety protocols; physical stamina is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy and quality assurance.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
