Keller Schroeder, an information technology firm in Evansville, IN is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer located in Southwestern Indiana area. This individual will be responsible for providing design, implementation, and technical support to clients for their data network infrastructure. This includes identifying opportunities for the use of technology to improve business efficiency, performing network design tasks, assessing existing design and implementation practices, performing network implementations, and providing support for clients’ data network environments. Keller Schroeder is unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical pre-sales and post-sales infrastructure consulting services to enterprise and small business clientele
- Assist with designing, implementing, and managing complex network environments
- Establish trust and build relationships with people at all levels of client’s organization
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and management regarding latest technologies, solutions, and best practices
Requirements:
- 8 years infrastructure networking experience
- Enterprise network infrastructure design and implementation experience
- Advanced skills troubleshooting complex network environments
- LAN/WAN, Data Center Networking, Security, and WLAN
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others
- Strong ability to document processes and procedures clearly and accurately for distribution to internal teams and clients
- Experience prioritizing and working productively while multitasking
- Be proactive, reliable, self-accountable, and able to work independently without direct supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate designs, concepts, and technical issues to a non-technical audience
- Minimal travel requirements
Preferred Experience:
- Strong conceptual and hands-on experience with designing and implementing enterprise networks
- Cisco ISE or similar Network Access Control solutions
- CCNP/CCIE or equivalent experience level
- Experience in designing connectivity for Public Cloud environments like AWS and Azure
- Experience designing and deploying SD-WAN architectures
- Cisco Unified Communication implementation and support experience
- Server Virtualization/Storage Area Networking implementation and support experience
- Experience with identity management solutions such as Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID
