Keller Freight Solutions is looking for an Account Specialist to join our team! Located at 1250 Geneva Blvd., Defiance, OH 43512.

Job Overview: The Account Specialist’s primary responsibility is to support the Account Management team as needed.  This support role will include interacting with both customers and internal resources to resolve issues and update order information.  We are looking for a detail-oriented individual that values positive communication and flexibility in tasks within a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing: 

• Navigate through customer portals to perform the following:
  • Appoint pickup/delivery times
  • Close out loads
  • Request accessorial fees
  • Upload BOL’s
• Collaborate with account management and procurement team to handle customer and carrier issues
• Perform check calls as needed
• Accurately build assigned loads within TMW either manually or with EDI
• Respond to customer update requests in a timely and professional manner
• Assist in achieving growth and revenue goals for customer portfolio
• Other duties as assigned by Lead Account Specialist

What we're looking for: 

• Excellent organization and planning skills 
• Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating system
• Market knowledge of the industry 
• Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills
• HS diploma, College degree preferred

Measurables: 

• Throughput and accuracy of orders built, and appointments set
• Customer satisfaction and scorecard results
• Overall profitability of Freight Solutions
• Response to all customer requests within established time parameters
