What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Analyst position at Keller Financial Group, Inc?
About Keller Financial Group
Founded in 1986, Keller Financial Group is an integrated advisory firm that focuses on business owners. We don't do just one thing — we bring bookkeeping, tax, financial planning, investments, and business advisory together under one roof, and we walk alongside owners through every phase of their journey: building their companies, transitioning out of them, and stewarding the wealth and legacy that follow.
We pair big-firm strategic depth with the focus and care of a close-knit team — and because many of us have direct experience with business ownership, we understand what owners are dealing with. That integrated, operator-minded model is what sets us apart, and it shapes how this role works.

Why this role is difference
At most firms, a tax professional works in a silo: returns come in, returns go out, and you rarely see the bigger picture. Here, tax is one connected part of a client's full financial life. You'll understand why a client's numbers look the way they do, how their tax position ties to their planning and business goals, and where your work fits into decisions that matter to them.
A few things we think make this worth your time:
· You'll see the whole picture, not just a return. Because we handle the books, the planning, and the advisory work too, you'll have context most tax roles never give you.
· Make a clear impact. Our clients are business owners we know well — people building and selling companies, and stewarding the wealth that comes after. Your work carries visible context and makes a difference in their daily lives.
· Fast-paced learning. Our integrated model – working across our clients’ business and personal financial lives – means that you will gain a better understanding of how taxes fit into the full picture. We have an entrepreneurial, collaborative culture and pride ourselves on being innovative to serve our clients better. This all means that you will learn more than you would in a traditional tax firm.
· Sustainable by design. We're intentional about protecting our team's time and energy, even in busy season (more on that below).
Who this role is not for
This role is not a good fit if you are seeking a fully remote position, interested in bookkeeping-only or data-entry-only work, or are looking for an environment where long hours (70 per week) during tax season are expected or preferred. At Keller Financial Group, we prioritize accuracy, consistency, and sustainable workloads, and we are intentional about protecting personal and family time even during busy seasons. This role is best suited for someone who values high-quality tax work, operational discipline, and a balanced, team-oriented environment.
