Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Acquisitions team, with flexibility to be based in either Tampa, FL or Los Angeles, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing platform focused on multifamily real estate investments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and demonstrated experience underwriting direct investments, particularly within the multifamily asset class.
We are looking for candidates who are not only analytically sharp but also have strong interpersonal skills. The role requires frequent interaction with a wide range of stakeholders including brokers, intermediaries, capital partners, investors, consultants, key industry players, and the firm’s senior leadership. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for real estate and a desire to grow within a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze investment opportunities and prepare executive summaries for internal review and offering memoranda
• Develop detailed pro forma financials and cash flow models to support underwriting and valuation efforts
• Model and structure investment vehicles, portfolio roll-ups, and other strategic financial analyses
• Conduct research and evaluate economic, demographic, and market data to support investment decisions
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate investment strategies, assumptions, and results to internal and external stakeholders
• Review and analyze key real estate documents, including leases, rent rolls, operating statements, and tax summaries
• Assist in preparing materials for client, investor, and internal team meetings
• Maintain and update due diligence databases; respond to information requests from current and prospective investors
• Collaborate across the firm’s various verticals to support coordinated investment and capital markets initiatives
Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; emphasis in Real Estate preferred
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in real estate, ideally in acquisitions, underwriting, or investment analysis
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in real estate investment modeling and valuation
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong multi-tasking capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to internal teams and external partners
