We are seeking a strategic and experienced individual to join our team as a Director of Operations Services. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of our cafe locations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, leadership, and process improvement.
This position must have outstanding communication skills, both in verbal and written forms, ability to develop strong relationships and implement effective solutions. Must be highly organized, strategic and able to manage multiple priorities, with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy and Oversight
- Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to drive consistency, quality, and profitability across all restaurant locations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Area Operations Leaders and Franchisees to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Analyze key performance indicators, financial data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Learning and Development, Supply Chain, Culinary, Marketing, and HR, to ensure operational excellence and alignment with company standards.
- Partner in the development and implementation of training programs for restaurant team members to enhance skills, performance, and guest experience.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and stay ahead of market changes.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize services and control costs
- Develop and maintain operational budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.
- Coach, and develop leaders, through timely performance and observation feedback and evaluations.
- Conduct site visits with operations partners to ensure that the restaurant is meeting quality and operational standards.
Brand Reputation Management:
- Maintains high product quality standards, consistency, and presentation across all cafes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensures the maintenance of a safe and harassment free workplace in all cafes and for all team members.
- Monitors and analyzes sales and performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
Drive Winning Results:
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of cafe professionals to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, maximize profitability, and expand into new markets.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, competition, and best practices, and proactively introduce process improvements and innovation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving results in a multi-unit restaurant environment
- Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and technologies in restaurant operations
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute operational strategies that support business growth and success
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to think creatively and translate vision into actionable plans.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, including motivating and inspiring a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated financial understanding and experience in managing budgets and cost control.
