Keithly Williams Seeds is a large, international growing vegetable seed dealer headquartered in Yuma, Arizona. We are looking for a highly qualified Credit Professional to work in our International Credit Department. This position will work predominately with our Sales Team and Customers in Mexico. This will be a hands-on working manager, who will work with U.S. and Mexico staff to implement credit policy company wide. Ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or agriculture trade credit and will also have international business experience. Position will require regular travel to our locations in Mexico. We offer competitive pay and an extensive benefit package.
Position Overview:
Responsible for evaluation of new and recurring applications and assessing them for credit worthiness and managing business credit risk for all the company's customer accounts. Responsible for collections activity. Work with the Global Credit team to get measurable results in a highly professional manner. Knowledge of US and MX collection rules and regulations a necessity. Continually implement collection and regulation rules to ensure the organization is in a position to effectively collect outstanding debts.
Educational Skills:
- College Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management
- Maintain knowledge on laws and regulations concerning credit and collection issues for all countries in which the business may participate.
Experience and Background:
minimum of 7 years of trade credit & collection experience- History of accomplishments in the field from strong negotiation skills with detailed reconciliation results
- Extensive experience dealing with banks, collection agencies, and credit associations.
- Experience in analyzing customer credit worthiness.
- Management and team building experience
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency required
- Bilingual - English/Spanish required
- ERP experience a plus.

Write reports, business correspondence
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, simple and compound interest and proportions to practical situations.
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
