Tradesman Code Plumber (Gas)

Position Summary:

The Tradesman Code Plumber is responsible for performing skilled plumbing and gas line installation work for residential pool construction projects. This position installs, assembles, and maintains plumbing systems while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes and company standards. The ideal candidate has strong plumbing experience, demonstrates quality workmanship, and is capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assemble and install valves, pipes, fittings, and plumbing components for residential pool construction projects

· Install plumbing and gas-related equipment including fire rings, fire bowls, backflow preventers, and other related features

· Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install threaded pipe systems ranging from 1/2” to 3” pipe sizes

· Utilize hand tools and equipment specific to residential pool construction gas plumbing installations

· Interpret project requirements and complete installations according to specifications and applicable plumbing codes

· Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation, functionality, and quality standards

· Maintain a safe, clean, and productive job site

· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations

· Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently

· Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

· Strong knowledge of plumbing materials, tools, and installation methods

· Ability to safely operate hand tools and equipment required for plumbing installations

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

· Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability

· Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

· Ability to read and follow job specifications and instructions

· Strong communication and teamwork skills

· Ability to maintain a safe and organized work environment

Education, Licensing, and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

· Current Tradesman Plumbing License required

· Valid state-issued driver’s license with a safe driving record required

· Must be authorized to work in the United States

· Minimum of 3 years of prior plumbing experience required

· Experience working with threaded pipe systems ranging from 1/2” to 3” required

· Experience with residential construction, pool plumbing, or gas line installation preferred

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, crawl, and work in various positions for extended periods

· Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor construction environments

· Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and plumbing components

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
