Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our landscapes, ensuring that all outdoor areas are clean and well-kept. This role requires a passion for gardening and landscape maintenance, along with the ability to operate various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Care for gardens by planting, watering, weeding, and fertilizing as needed.
- Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools for various tasks including planting, pruning, and maintaining flower beds.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to promote healthy growth while monitoring water usage.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter regularly.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as required.
- Monitor plant health and identify any issues such as pests or diseases for timely intervention.
Requirements
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques and gardening practices is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate both power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
