Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled High Side Transfer Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service, as well as the experience with transfer trucks. MUST HAVE TRANSFER EXP.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks for the transportation of freight.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for deliveries while maintaining schedules.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues that arise.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Experience

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with current medical card
• 2 years driver experience
• Clean DMV record
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules and regulations
• Pass periodic drug tests
• Be physically qualified to perform all duties of a driver
• DOT Qualified
• Must have transfer experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
