Keiding Inc. is seeking a full-time, hands-on, reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our operations. There is some flexibility with the shift hours if mutually agreed upon. This critical position ensures our equipment and infrastructure run smoothly, supporting safe and efficient production.
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, assisting with equipment installations and repairs, and performing welding and fabrication as needed. What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Handle emergency repairs and maintenance requests promptly
- Assist with installation and upgrades of equipment and systems
- Perform welding and fabrication for equipment repair, modification, or installation
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and internal protocols
- Ensure minimal production disruption during maintenance work
Daily Job Duties
- Maintain pulp molding lines, ovens, and water recycling systems
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults in equipment
- Conduct routine tasks like lubrication, filter changes, and belt adjustments
- Monitor vacuum and water systems to ensure optimal operation
- Support machine setups and product changeovers as needed
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts safely as needed
- Utilize welding and fabrication tools to support custom repairs and installations
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Skills
- 2 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking
- Able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Experience with MIG, TIG, or stick welding and metal fabrication techniques
- Great communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
Education & Certifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certification preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant maintenance experience required
Travel Requirements
- Minimal travel – occasional travel between plants only
