What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a company truck while transporting product between distributor warehouse locations
- Work closely with the Manager/Dispatcher to coordinate and schedule pick-ups and deliveries
- Safeguard company products, equipment, and vehicles while on the route
- Complete required pre-trip safety inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and company guidelines
- Operate the vehicle safely, obey all traffic laws, and follow applicable DOT regulations at all times
- Ensure the truck is properly loaded to prevent product damage during transport
- Remove trash, shrink-wrap, and debris from the truck at the end of each day
- Keep the truck cab clean, organized, and ready for the next route
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of commercial driving experience; one year of over-the-road experience preferred
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver License
- Valid U.S. Department of Transportation Medical Examiner’s Certificat
- A strong commitment to safety, service, teamwork, and doing the job right
