Job Summary:
The Keg Line Cleaner / Draft Technician is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through cleaning and maintenance of draft beer systems in assigned accounts as scheduled. The line cleaner / draft technician are provided a full two-week training period - no prior experience necessary!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Service all assigned route customers by end of shift each day.
2. Maintain draught equipment in retail accounts by cleaning all tapping equipment in
accordance with supplier standards, including drawing pressure of CO2 and beer temperature
3. Complete records of cleaning service, by account via handheld device and account calendar
registration.
4. Solicit additional draught lines and/or product placements.
5. Merchandise accounts to include permanent and paper P.O.S. placement.
6. Complete invoices properly, charging and/or crediting the account for any draught system parts sold/exchanged.
7. Responsible for complying with all Quality Assurance guidelines and quality policies of KEG 1 Iowa and suppliers.
8. Assist with weekend support and special events as requested.
9. Adheres to all KEG 1 Iowa policies, procedures, and trainings to include safety.
10. Responsible for maintaining communications after daily work hours to meet customer service needs.
11. Establish and maintain professional customer relationships.
12. Identify and resolve customer concerns.
13. Responsible for maintenance of assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment.
14. Understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations, KEG 1 Iowa and supplier policies.
15. Must be able to lift 130 lbs. regularly and routinely as well as push 200 lbs. handcart load.
16. Other Assigned Duties.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
2. Basic handheld (phone) skills.
3. Mechanical skill-set and mind-set.
4. 18 years or older.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working in a mechanical field and understanding the basic functions and parts of beer draft systems strongly preferred.
Prior customer service experience and strong attention to detail.
