The BDC Representative is essential for driving dealership traffic and growth by managing all inbound and outbound customer communications with the goal of setting quality appointments for the Sales department.
- Lead Management: Promptly handle and respond to all incoming internet leads, phone calls, text messages, and chat inquiries for Sales.
- Appointment Setting: Execute persuasive follow-up strategies to convert leads into confirmed showroom or service appointments.
- Customer Communication: Conduct professional, friendly, and informative outbound calls (prospecting, follow-up, and CSI calls) to previous, current, and prospective customers.
- CRM Expertise: Accurately log all customer contact, notes, and activity in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of all new Volkswagen models, features, pricing, and current promotions/incentives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers to ensure a seamless and world-class customer experience from the first contact to the final sale.
- Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) for calls, contacts, and appointments set.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a BDC, call center, customer service, or high-volume sales environment (Automotive experience is a significant plus).
- Communication Powerhouse: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a confident, energetic, and professional phone presence.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including experience with a CRM system and Microsoft Office Suite.
