Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation across residential and commercial spaces
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met consistently
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively to clean floors, carpets, surfaces, and upholstery
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled windows while maintaining quality standards
• Ensure proper storage and maintenance of cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies for optimal performance

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, surface sanitation, and outdoor work experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with physical stamina
• Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other janitorial tools preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures aligned with health standards for residential or commercial environments
• Previous experience in hospitality or residential housekeeping roles is advantageous

Pay: $21.86 per hour
