What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator position at Keep Smiling Kids?
Our growing pediatric dental office is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to help provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the dental field, be an excellent communicator, friendly, and patient. Experience with dental insurance verification, data entry, and customer service skills are required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answering phones, making appointments, gathering accurate demographic and insurance data, correctly entering data into the patient's file, overseeing the daily schedule, staying current with patient inquiries and our automated appointment reminder system, verifying insurance coverage and benefits, and working with the clinical staff to help manage the flow of the office. You must be willing to step into any role for the benefit of the patient and the overall success of the practice. Accuracy in data gathering and input is critical.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday ~7:45am-5:00pm, with 1 hour lunch break, Friday 7:45am-2:00pm.
