As KPB has grown over the past few years, our needs have grown as well. We are looking for the right match to fit our current, specific needs. For KPB to continue to grow and to expand the services offered to the community, additional funding needs to be secured. We are looking for an experienced grant writer and fundraiser. Is that you?

We are also working to develop our membership program. We want to offer a robust membership opportunity to help build engagement with the organization and a sense of community for our supporters.

Responsibilities

  • Daily office tasks – checking email and voicemail, keeping the office clean, chatting with visitors, and other needed tasks
  • Assisting with some events as needed. KPB offers programs and events to the community outside of regular business hours so help may be needed.

Experience

  • Grant writing or other forms of fundraising
  • Experience with building and running membership campaigns and programs
  • Marketing experience preferred
  • Social media savvy is a plus
  • Plant knowledge is a plus
