Keep Joy Studio is a growing custom pottery business specializing in hand-painted ceramic keepsakes for birthdays, weddings, and other meaningful celebrations. We're looking for a detail-oriented Studio Assistant to help support day-to-day operations and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment, values organization and attention to detail, and is excited about being part of a small business.
- Print packing slips and shipping labels
- Carefully pack and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Assist with customer service via email
- Engage with customers on social media platforms
- Help maintain studio organization and inventory
- Support day-to-day studio operations and administrative tasks
- Assist with various projects as needed to support the artist and business
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable using email, social media, and basic computer programs
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience with shipping, fulfillment, or e-commerce operations
- Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, or other social media platforms
- Interest in art, handmade products, or small businesses
- 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule during weekday business hours
- In-person role located in the Heights area of Houston, TX
