ServiceNow Architect:
As a ServiceNow Architect, you will be integral in designing and leading the implementation of advanced ServiceNow solutions across a variety of platforms and modules. With your in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and best practices, you will create scalable, robust solutions that drive business value, improve operational efficiency, and align with client goals. Must be located in Great Phoenix Area & have expertise in ITSM, ITOM and SPM modules is a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture: Design and lead the implementation of comprehensive ServiceNow solutions, spanning ITSM, ITOM and SPM and other ServiceNow applications.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define architectural vision and implementation roadmaps for ServiceNow projects.
- Customization & Configuration: Oversee the configuration and customization of ServiceNow modules, ensuring adherence to best practices and scalability standards.
- Integration Design: Architect seamless integrations between ServiceNow and external systems
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams, fostering adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Platform Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance, usability, and cost-efficiency improvements, including data modeling, workflows, and integration enhancements.
- Governance & Security: Establish governance processes to maintain platform integrity, security, and compliance, ensuring proper management of data, access controls, and configurations.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a subject matter expert, advising clients on ServiceNow architecture, process automation, and platform capabilities.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation guides.
- Upgrades & Enhancements: Lead efforts for system upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements, aligning with the latest ServiceNow releases and features.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role.
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, design, and configuration, including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and CMDB.
- Proven ability to design scalable solutions aligned with the Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, and MID Server.
- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules) and advanced features like Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.
- Strong knowledge of update sets, version control, deployment processes, and governance frameworks.
- Certifications Requirement:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)(minimum)
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- ITIL Knowledge:
- Practical understanding of ITIL frameworks, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management, with the ability to map these to ServiceNow functionalities.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management).
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and their integration with ServiceNow.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
- Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks to drive operational efficiencies.
