Campus Recreation & Fitness–BW Fitness Specialist position.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- Must be a declared major in HPMS Exercise Science and have completed the Practicum Leadership class.
- Desk responsibilities include answering the phone, scheduling fitness assessments and equipment orientations, answering members’ questions.
- Supervise the fitness center and enforce policies.
- Provide daily cleaning and upkeep of the facilities and equipment.
- Serve as a personal trainer for member clients.
- Understand all emergency procedures for the facility and be prepared to act in the event of an emergency.
- Must have current certification in American Red Cross first aid and community CPR/AED or equivalent.
- Must be able to work weekdays including early morning and evenings.
