The Health Sciences Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions for the Spring 2026 semester to teach a course in 1) Introductory Health and Wellness or 2) Social determinants and health. The Health Sciences Department at Keene State College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions for the Spring 2026 semester to teach a course in 1) Introductory Health and Wellness or 2) Social determinants and health. Successful applicants will have significant academic and/or industry experience in the specified area(s) of the course they are applying to teach. These are part-time non-benefitted positions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- (50%) Design and delivery course content for credit courses.
- (45%) Prepare lesson plans and course materials. Assess student learning. Assign grades, refer students to support services. Provide supplemental instruction and mentorship to students.
- (5%) Abide with USNH and KSC policies; participate in appropriate departments/unit meetings.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Health Sciences or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of experience in a health-related field.
- Experience in group teaching or facilitation.
