Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Electrical Engineer located in Ashland, OH. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical systems, analyzing electricity requirements, and ensuring efficient power distribution. Day-to-day tasks may include collaborating on product development, troubleshooting electrical systems, and working on power systems to maintain compliance with industry standards. The role also involves ensuring product functionality, reliability, and safety. This role will support the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems used in our products and operations
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support electrical systems for industrial pump products
- Create and maintain wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation using AutoCAD
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Troubleshoot electrical components and systems during production and testing
- Assist with control panel design, motor controls, and system optimization
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2 years of relevant experience (internship experience considered)
- Experience using AutoCAD (AutoCAD Electrical preferred)
- Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems, and industrial electronics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls
- Familiarity with UL, NEC, and industrial compliance standards
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or pump systems
- Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems
