What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Lead position at KEEN Footwear?

The Warehouse Lead provides leadership to the warehouse team for daily direction. This role maintains inventory controls by performing daily cycle counting and inventory control activities related to the movement of materials throughout the warehouse.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provides guidance and direction to other department employees. Ensures warehouse team complies with all safety requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
- Communicates training needs, task, and team performance to department supervisor. Help implement inbound, processing, and outbound schedules and assignments.
- Conducts SAP inventory transactions that impact component inventory utilization and accuracy.
- Helps department supervisor develop all necessary reports and standard operating procedures to facilitate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts, and adjustments.
- Determine the frequency and performance of inspections of inbound receipts and outbound shipments.
- Assure the cycle counting process is being strictly adhered to and schedule is being followed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or equivalent level of education.
- One year of experience working in a warehouse role.
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems.
- Advanced understanding of warehouse operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to comply with all safety requirement as well as company policies and procedures.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform all responsibilities of the Warehouse I and Warehouse II roles.
Travel Required
