Our Industrial Manufacturing Division is looking to add a Tool Clerk to their team in Ironton, MO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all tools, equipment, and materials stored in the tool room.
- Distribute tools and equipment to employees as needed and ensure timely return.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor tool usage.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and coordinate repairs, maintenance, or replacements.
- Keep the tool room clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Communicate and promote a safe working environment with strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Assist team members with tool-related needs and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ensure all tools meet safety standards and regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a tool room or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand safety standards and operational procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus.
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour card preferred.
