Winter/Spring 2026 Interior Design Internship

Keeler & Company is seeking a Winter/Spring 2026 Intern to join our team. If you are a self-starter with a passion for interior design, a positive attitude, and strong attention to detail, we’d love to hear from you.
Who We Are
Keeler & Co. is a high-end residential interior design firm based in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. We provide our clients with creative, personalized design solutions and beautiful spaces—while ensuring their experience throughout the process is seamless and enjoyable.
Our studio culture is collaborative and growth-oriented, with every team member encouraged to learn, contribute, and develop their skills. In addition to our Boston studio, we also operate a seasonal design shop in Seal Harbor, Maine.
What You’ll Do
On-Site & In-Studio
- Assist the design team with all aspects of the design process, including but not limited to architectural drawings, FF&E selection, and vendor communication
- Participate in vendor meetings, installations, and photoshoots
- Assist with general studio operations and errands that keep our design practice running smoothly
- Manage daily shipping and receiving
- Maintain inventory of office supplies
- Assist with general office upkeep
Materials Library
- Maintain and organize our materials library & design inventory
- Research new products and schedule meetings with vendor reps to review new seasonal lines
Marketing & Networking
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives including newsletters, website updates, and social media
- Support outreach efforts to grow our client network
- Participate in team outings and industry events
Additional Responsibilities
- Communicate proactively regarding project tasks, deadlines, and needs
- Ensure expectations remain on track and are adjusted as needed
- Keep the team informed of progress and any potential challenges or emerging issues
Basic Requirements
- Working towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
- Availability to work on-site 5 days per week
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive for design or administrative errands
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation
- Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to interpret redlines and revise documents
- Basic knowledge in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite encouraged but not required
Physical & Office Requirements
- This position may require lifting items up to 50 pounds during installations or deliveries
- Dogs are regularly present in the office
Schedule
- Full-time, in-person internship (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM)
- Located in Jamaica Plain, Boston
