- Assist with the overall initiatives within the Weld Training school.
- Understands, comply and supports corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
- Responsible for following housekeeping and 5-S initiatives in the quality department.
- Perform verbal and hands on assistance/support to welding trainees on both paperwork/documentation and practical welding practices.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning possible manufacturing and quality problems.
- Shall have a practical knowledge of assembly and fabrication production processes.
- Demonstrable skills using various hand gages including, steel tapes, steel rulers, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Understand English and Metric measurement schemes.
- Shall have the skills and knowledge to establish techniques; to interpret codes, standards, and specifications.
- Candidate should be knowledgeable with applicable industry standards, specifications and procedures.
- Record test data.

- Shall be proficient in welding processes including but not limited to FCAW all positions, GMAW-Pulsed all positions including alloys, GMAW-Spray all positions including alloys and SMAW all positions.
- Shall demonstrate skills to perform the GTAW welding process.
- Shall understand Welding Symbols and weld testing techniques.
- Shall be qualified to interpret codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
- Prefer experience with MS Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Working knowledge of assembly, metal fabrication, and construction techniques.
- 5 years of progressive project experience in assembly and/or steel fabrication.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Communicate using proper verbal and written skills.
