The Payroll Associate acts as the bridge between team members, supervisors, and the payroll team. This role ensures payroll data accuracy, assists with timecard management, and provides administrative support throughout the payroll cycle. The position maintains compliance with established processes and supports overall payroll operations.

Responsibilities And Duties
- Provide consistent and accurate payroll support by coordinating data collection, verifying time entries, and communicating with supervisors regarding discrepancies.
- Help ensure payroll accuracy and timely processing while improving workflow efficiency across departments.
- Review and validate team member information (new hires, terminations, pay changes).
- Review timecards for accuracy, including PTO, holidays, and attendance.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding missing or incorrect data.
- Maintain payroll data integrity in HRIS and Payroll/timekeeping systems.
- Conduct pre-payroll audits and reconcile payroll reports.
- Prepare reports and assist with post-payroll reconciliations.
- Provide general payroll support and assist with audit readiness.
Education and Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll or administrative support.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Familiarity with payroll/timekeeping systems (IFS, Paylocity preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times (e.g., files, office supplies).
