Job Summary:

Education And Experience
- Associate degree and three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum one (1) year programming CMM, Faro equipment and Polyworks software experience a plus.
- CMM Level III certification preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience operating Laser Tracker and Articulated Arm PCMM’s either Faro,
- Leica, or API using Spatial Analyzer or Polyworks.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably IFS.
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent attendance record including job stability.
- Must have the ability to change and adapt to new situations.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate Portable Coordinate Metrology Machine(s) to verify various products are in dimensional accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Operate PCMM’s to assist trades in fit-up i.e. live fit.
- Conduct regular maintenance on PCMM and inspection equipment.
- Collect and analyze data using Spatial Analyzer.
- Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Uses calipers, micrometers, and other hand inspection tools as required
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Responsible for housekeeping in the department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
As needed to facilities within the Southeast region.
Physical Requirements
- May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure is frequent to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles - eye protection is required, and fumes, machine vibration, and noisy conditions, high temperatures, and occasional to a restricted space work area.
