Overview: As a Materials Coordinator for Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments of a welding and fabrication manufacturing plant. This will be done according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and will compile and maintain manual or computerized records related to those tasks. On-the-job training is provided as needed.

Job Functions
- Reviews production schedules and related information.
- Confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements.
- Identifies and tracks on time and overdue material.
- Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates according to job order priorities and material availability.
- Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
- Arranges kitting of materials to meet production schedules.
- Computers the amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes to do so.
- Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s Degree with an accounting emphasis or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Account preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in manufacturing environment and accounting field, with strong computer skills, especially with ERP systems.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Well organized, self-motivated.
- Good communication abilities; works well with others.
