Average Starting Pay Range $16.00 - $20.00
Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits available, 401K after 6 months.
Overview: As a Heavy General Laborer for Keel Midwest, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing process in a job shop focused on CNC Machining. On the job training is provided as necessary.
Specific Duties
Work Environment: Heated shop floor environment, no air conditioning. Exposure to occasional fumes from paint, cleaners, adhesives or similar. PPE use is required. Some minor exposure to debris, dust, or other particulates can be expected.

Specific Duties
- Tending CNC Machines in cooperation with operators, maintenance, and management.
- Handling product, both raw material and finished product, including assisting in setups.
- Utilizing overhead cranes and fork trucks to assist with heavy rigging.
- Packing and handling large components for shipment.
- Performing other operations as directed by plant manager and gaining skills that can be learned on the job.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or other warehouse setting preferred but not required.
- Must be mechanically inclined and trainable, as many tasks are unique to the facility and require training.
- Must be able to follow verbal or written directions accurately.
- Ideal candidate will be well-organized, industrious, and hard-working, with attention to detail and the ability to work with cross-functional teams from a variety of disciplines.
