Your Mission
Lead the Keel financial planning and analysis process. The FP&A Director will be responsible for overseeing the forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis of the company. The role will report to the Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer.
Explore The Depth Of The Role
- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes including full financial statement requirements.
- Review the indirect rate structure of the company.
- Develop cash flow forecast working with PMO to assist with liquidity visibility.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop models to assist in evaluating potential acquisitions to support company growth initiatives.
- Support capital allocation decisions, investment analysis, and ROI evaluations
- Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks to inform financial strategy
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate financial data
Mission Readiness:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- CPA is preferred
- Expert financial statement modeling (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash flows) and analytical skills.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles, and a proven track record of developing financial models.
- Experience with waterfall development a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications, such as IFS.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
- Builds strong connections and collaborates effectively across different teams and departments.
