What You'll Do
- Learn and execute critical upkeep processes using Orion portfolio management software
- Maintain our document library for investment strategies and manage internally designed marketing materials
- Perform daily fund tracking and reconciliation with precision and care
- Generate custom performance reports that support client reviews and decision-making
- Serve as back-up trader when the head trader is unavailable, executing trades with accuracy
- Manage internal team inboxes to support questions and tasks from across departments
- Gather performance estimates and data for system uploads, ensuring accuracy at every step
- Process account and alternative investment paperwork with attention to detail
- Execute money movement transactions for investment team clients
- Support the Finance and Compliance teams with invoice and exception processing
- Support additional investment team functions as needs arise to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's degree or 2 years of relevant experience in investments, accounting, or operations
- Willingness to relocate to or currently living in the Huntsville, Alabama area
- Demonstrated understanding of investments and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data organization)
- Ability to pass the Series 7 and SIE exams, or commitment to pursue them
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
- Bloomberg terminal experience
- Prior experience with portfolio management or Orion software
- Background in wealth management or investment advisory firms
- Familiarity with investment compliance processes
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
