Transactional Paralegal

Learn more about us at www.keeginharrison.com. We are looking for an organized and motivated paralegal to provide administrative and paralegal support to our real estate, corporate, and trusts and estates departments.  We value self-starters and those who take ownership of projects and look for ways to anticipate the needs of team members. Responsibilities include: Opening new client matters, performing conflict checks, and preparing engagement agreements.·         Communicating with clients, counsel, and other third parties to schedule meetings and conference calls, and collect information as needed.·         Proofing, preparing, and filing various legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, grant deeds, leases, and stock certificates·         Organizing and maintaining stock ledgers and minute books, closing binders, and other corporate records.·         Tracking and calendaring trademark registrations.General administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, faxing, etc., and organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files. Requirements: 1.      At least 2 years of experience as a transactional paralegal. Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate are preferred.  2.      Strong formatting, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.3.      Strong organizational and analytical skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks, track competing deadlines, and communicate at a high-level with a focus on exceptional client service.4.      Ability to anticipate and solve problems independently and proactively, while also able to work as a part of a team.5.      Flexibility in sharing general office responsibilities with other office staff.6.      Must be proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat, experience with DocuSign and Clio are a plus.7.      Must be willing to be physically present in office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  This is not a remote position. This job description intends to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Salary : $35 - $41
