Job description
The Consulting Services practice of Keegan Linscott offers specialized service in forensic accounting, litigation support, fraud investigation and prevention, bankruptcy/reorganization, merger and acquisition, strategic planning, business management, and other accounting services.
We are currently seeking an experienced individual with 2 years of experience in the same or similar position. The Consulting Manager position will assist the firm’s clients with strategic planning and implementation of the tools and metrics to track progress related thereto, design and oversight of financial reporting, design and oversight of budgeting and the development of projections for existing and new projects and/or product lines, negotiation and diligence support associated with mergers, acquisitions, and/or sales of businesses or business lines, the identification of risk and governance issues, and the delivery of presentations to owners and senior executives. Other responsibilities will include supporting litigation services and bankruptcy practices, and specific client needs.
Essential Functions
- Oversee the activities necessary for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal monthly financial statements, annual budgets, financial projections, and audited financial statements.
- Establish, maintain and maximize systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
- Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports as needed.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Supervise administrative employees who assist with Firm work.
- Review and make recommendations to management for improvement of the Firm’s policies, procedures and practices on payroll and benefit matters.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure Firm’s compliance with payroll and benefits.
- Expertise in accounting required
- Good communication, including through the preparation of formal written reports, required
- Ability to think on your feet and run client engagements from start to finish (with direction and/or consultation from others within the firm), which includes planning, executing, directing and completing projects and services, and managing them to budget, required.
